The Soap Opera Experiment is the story of four adults in their mid-twenties, who are having problems in their life and relationships. Cassie, a hopeless romantic,Β  is trying to find β€œthe one”; while her best friend Jill, is contemplating whether she wants to cheat on her long-term boyfriend. Tony, Jill’s boyfriend, is trying to figure out why the spark has disappeared from his relationship; and Mark, Tony’s brother, is going through a difficult divorce. Annabelle Statten has everything a woman could want; she is beautiful, has a successful career, and is married to a good man. However, ever since the death of her mother, Annabelle has been unable to shake off her depression. Annabelle’s mother has always been an enigma to her. She didn’t know anything about her mom’s life prior to her mom’s marriage. Motivated by a dry rose in her mother’s scrap-book, Annabelle starts a search to uncover who her mother was, and why she had kept her life a secret. During this search she also begins to question who she is, the strength of her marriage, and her relationship with her family and in-laws. To read about Annabelle’s journey Click Here.

I absolutely love the layout of your site. It’s so easy to navigate through your stories and material! Did you find a theme that allowed you to do this, or was it more customized coding? I’m still pretty new to using and trying to figure out how to organize my content in a fresh way.

    • July 8, 2011 11:22 pm

I used the theme vigilance. I did not customize the coding, but I did adds links to every post. I also archived all my posts to make the navigation easier. Thank you for visiting.

Ohhhh and I can add in my two sense!!! Even though it is the same comment as all above said as well. I do like the category layout of your homepage. It really does make a difference. Sort of like the chapters page in a book. Have you thought about the category widget as well????

    • July 12, 2011 10:55 am

Thanks. I actually have the category widget on the side bar. It’s labeled quick find.

I read the entire Soap Opera… in one go and it has me hooked. Your characerisation is simply brilliant

    • July 13, 2011 1:52 am

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully, you’ll also find some other posts to enjoy on my blog. Did you have a favorite character in the Soap Opera?

    • July 14, 2011 5:38 am

Yes I liked Jill…although she gives in to Scott but not before weighing if she should go for it. Only when she is convinced does she hit the bed

      Take the story forward soon

    • July 14, 2011 2:54 pm

Yeah, Jill is the type of person who always makes decisions very carefully. That is why her and Tony got along so well. They have similar personalities. I am going to update the story tonight. Thanks for reading.

    • July 16, 2011 3:49 am

Jill is a typical female who always demands ever increasing love, sadly if love doesn’t increase it starts decreasing

    • July 16, 2011 5:53 am

That is very true. She is also the type of person who always needs excitement in her life, and if she doesn’t have it, she creates her own drama.
